What We Do

1. Commerce Fest

  • Loyola College organizes an annual Commerce Fest featuring business quizzes, mock stock trading, marketing games, and product launches.
  • Students actively participate in organizing and managing the event, gaining real-life experience in planning and teamwork.

2. Poster Presentations & Case Studies

  • Students present posters on topics like the Indian economy, market trends, start-up ideas, and taxation policies.
  • Case studies based on real business scenarios are discussed in class to encourage analytical thinking.

3. Debates & Discussions

  • Debates and group discussions are conducted on topics such as the Union Budget, GST, cryptocurrency, ethical business practices, etc.
  • These activities improve public speaking and critical thinking skills.

4. Budget Analysis Sessions

  • Students analyze and present key highlights of the Union Budget and understand its implications on different sectors.
  • Faculty members guide students in understanding key financial concepts during these sessions.

5. Industrial Visits

  • Regular field visits to industries, banks, cooperative societies, and companies help students observe practical business operations.
  • Reports and presentations are prepared based on their experience.

6. Tally Classes

  • Hands-on training is provided in Tally ERP and accounting software.
  • Students learn voucher entries, ledger preparation, GST computation, and report generation.

7. Role Plays and Business Simulations

  • Students engage in role-playing exercises to understand business roles like entrepreneurs, managers, accountants, and auditors.
  • Simulated business environments help them apply theoretical knowledge in practice.

8. Orientation and Skill Development Programs
